TEHRAN – Police in the border province of Sistan-Baluchestan have confiscated nine hand grenades, seven revolvers and one sniper rifle in a border checkpoint and in a house in Khash city, IRNA reported.

The province’s police chief Mohammad Ghanbari said on Saturday that three people were also arrested during the police search.

The city of Khash is located some 185 kilometers away in south of Zahedan, capital of the province.
